Ms. Schneider’s areas of interest include assessment and treatment of all ages in individual, group, couples, and family therapy. Her primary therapeutic frame- work is cognitive behavioral, DBT, and strength-based systemic approaches. She has a special interest in adolescent behavioral problems, parenting dif- ficulties, relationship struggles, managing anxiety and depression, coping with trauma, and managing stress and conflict.
Ms. Schneider graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Alverno College in 1992. She earned her Master’s in Social Work from the Helen Bader School of Social Welfare at the Universityof Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2004.
Ms. Schneider has counseling experience in a variety of settings such as in- home treatment, inpatient and outpatient treatment for adolescents and adults, and adolescent residential treatment. She has worked extensively in parent edu- cation, family therapy, group therapy, emotional issues, and drug using behav- iors. Her specialty area is in Christian Counsenling.
