The PTA is an organization of Pilgrim’s parents and teachers whose goal is to build a better educational environment for our children.  We promote the Christian welfare of our students and encourage the spiritual and physical growth of our school.  We foster a Christian relationship among pastors, teachers, and parents that we may cooperate more closely in the training of children in our church, school, home and community.  We sponsor events and activities such as the Family Luau, the Back to School Carnival, teacher appreciation events, and guest speakers that help our families grow together in faith and friendship.

We also promote a school community where teachers can do their best work with resources provided by the PTA.  Through fundraising efforts, the PTA is able to donate funds to purchase educational materials and equipment the school needs that may not be possible within the normal school budget.  Over the years, the PTA has been able to fund significant purchases and programs such as:

  • 1:1 iPad program
  • 1:1 Chromebooks
  • Gymnasium flooring
  • Netbooks and mobile computer cart
  • Interactive SMART Boards for classrooms
  • Desktop computers/monitors
  • Playground equipment
  • Online teacher curriculum
