Pilgrim’s challenging academic curriculum is reviewed and updated continuously, ensuring Pilgrim maintains high standards of academic excellence.
Student / Teacher Ratio
Average student / teacher ratio of 18:1 allows teachers to provide individualized attention to meet each child’s needs, including the exceptional.
Pilgrim students consistently perform well above national and state averages on standardized test scores. In the most recent Terra Nova standardized test, they outperformed their peers in nearly every subject area – reading, language, mathematics, social studies, and science.
Pilgrim instills a love of learning that benefits our students later – nearly 100% of Pilgrim graduates go on post-secondary education; 75% go on to a four-year college/university.
A Tradition of Excellence
Pilgrim is part of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS), the second largest private school system in the state of Wisconsin. The WELS has a rich tradition of academic excellence and has operated highly-regarded schools across the United States, the Caribbean, and the world for over 165 years.
Pilgrim Lutheran School is accredited by the National Council of Private Schools (NCPSA), Wisconsin Religious and Independent Schools Accreditation (WRISA), and Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod School Accreditation (WELSSA), receiving exemplary status in 2012.
