Little Lambs provides a developmentally appropriate program that is both age and individually appropriate. Our curriculum supports children’s learning through active involvement in direct, hands-on experiences with people, objects, ideas, and events.
Our preschool program serves children ages 3 (and self-sufficient in the bathroom) through age 6. Our program is offered 5 days a week, allowing your child the flexibility of attending a minimum of 2 half-days per week, or a maximum of 5 full days per week.
Some children like to explore, some prefer to listen to music or talk with their friends. Some enjoy active sports, while others like to quietly create something. We respect these differences and realize that each child has definite interests, likes, and dislikes. Therefore, our Extended Care program is tailored to the individual interests and needs of school-age children.
Our Extended Care program is open to both Pilgrim students as well as children in the community ages 3 through 12 and is offered Monday through Friday from 7:00a.m. – 6:00p.m. Convenient bus pick up and drop off is to/from Pilgrim by schools in the Hamilton-Sussex School District.
Pilgrim offers a full-time summer Child Care program to bridge the gap for working parents. Child Care is open to children ages 3 through 12 and is available Monday-Friday from 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. The program begins immediately following the last day of school and runs until the beginning of the next school year, according to Pilgrim’s school calendar. Child care also includes the 10 week Summer Camp sessions that are offered throughout June, July, and August.
Our state licensed facility, conveniently located adjacent to Pilgrim Lutheran Elementary School, is completely self-contained.
Our two spacious, connected classrooms are arranged in clearly defined interest areas including: Block Play, Creative Art, Dramatic Play, Language and Literacy, Sensory Play, Manipulatives, Movement and Music, Sensory Play, and Worship.
Our wonderful outdoor fenced play area and full size gymnasium provide ample opportunity for development of gross motor skills.
