Mrs. Carole Melso grew up in Muskego, WI and graduated from Dr. Martin Luther College in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree in education.

Carole’s first call was to teach Kindergarten – 2nd grade at Immanuel in Fort Worth, TX, where she started the school’s preschool program. She subsequently opened 2 additional new preschools in Beverly Hills, FL (1994) and Williamston, MI (2001). In 2008 the Melso family moved to Brookfield, WI when Carole’s husband John received a call to serve as principal at Christ the Lord. Carole spent 3 years as Assistant Director at Grandma’s House Child Care in Brookfield before coming to Pilgrim.

Continuing education is important to Carole and she enjoys attending early childhood conferences and is currently enrolled at Wisconsin Lutheran College to further her education.

She has four sons ranging in age from 15-21 and enjoys reading, music and attending her sons’ sporting events whenever possible.
